Earlier, Carl Cameron joined America Live to talk about the announcement. He reports that Cain’s campaign manager still claims there is no way he’s going to quit because they filed the $10,000 to be on the Nevada caucuses in February and he’s now running an ad in Iowa, which he just started today.

I have been on the Cain train since it was little more than an asterisk, and as a long time vocal supporter and donor, I for one hope Herman Cain does not drop out.

I love Herman Cain. I have spoken with him at length and I believe he is a good and decent person. I believe he is someone who speaks from the heart, someone who hasn’t been a product of our broken political system and someone who brings decades of real world business experience to this race. For me, however, this race has always been about the message and not just the messenger – and none of these allegations, true or false, about Cain’s personal life change the message one iota.

The message is simple: Washington is broken and it is the politicians – of all ideological and partisan stripes – that are responsible for it.

The Tea Party was a revolt against politics as usual. It was as much a revolt against the excesses of Republican politicians as it was a revolt against Democratic politicians. The Tea Party put Republican elected officials on notice that we – the base of the GOP – were not taking it anymore. Since the Tea Party led the GOP to historic wins in November of 2010, the Hill GOP – particularly House Republicans – have behaved in an uncharacteristic fashion. They have held the line on spending, refused to agree to raise taxes at all, and worked to reign in the size of government. These politicians didn’t suddenly get religion. They didn’t find political Jesus, they found fear – fear of the Tea Party. The only thing that stands between Republicans on the Hill going back to the bad old days of the Bush era GOP is the Tea Party.

Herman Cain’s campaign was and is the best opportunity for Tea Partiers to hold the politicians feet to the fire. The Cain campaign was and is the best way for the limited government base of the GOP to let the establishment know that we simply aren’t willing to accept big government Republicans any more than we are willing to accept big government Democrats.

With the mainstream media giddily reporting on an alleged affair involving Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, how long can it be before they break the news that their 2004 vice presidential candidate conceived a “love child” with his mistress, Rielle Hunter?

Herman Cain is a serial sexual harasser of the worst kind.  All those women who have come forward complaining about his voracious sexual appetite are only the tip of the iceberg.  Their complaints are nothing compared to what Cain has been doing to me for the past twenty-two years.  He’s been relentlessly harassing me, sexually, and nothing I do can get him to stop.

Now, it’s true that Herman Cain and I have never met, nor have we, you know, actually communicated in any way.  But he’s harassing me sexually and has been for many years.  I can see it in his eyes when he’s debating the other candidates, his lustful glances into the eye of the television camera, seeking me out among those millions watching the debates.  I know that ...]]> This is a great bit of satire from Canada Free Press:

Herman Cain is a serial sexual harasser of the worst kind.  All those women who have come forward complaining about his voracious sexual appetite are only the tip of the iceberg.  Their complaints are nothing compared to what Cain has been doing to me for the past twenty-two years.  He’s been relentlessly harassing me, sexually, and nothing I do can get him to stop.

Now, it’s true that Herman Cain and I have never met, nor have we, you know, actually communicated in any way.  But he’s harassing me sexually and has been for many years.  I can see it in his eyes when he’s debating the other candidates, his lustful glances into the eye of the television camera, seeking me out among those millions watching the debates.  I know that he wants me and nothing I do seems to deter his relentless sexual hunger.

But then, it’s understandable.  I mean Senator Harry Reid showed that he had a very good understanding of coloreds when he talked about his own preference for “light skinned” blacks “with no Negro dialect.”  Certainly Herman Cain isn’t light skinned, nor does he not have a Negro dialect.  In fact, he sounds like he’s straight out of the ‘hood,’ wherever that is.  And that’s the point.  It’s the “Mandingo” thing with these dark-skinned Negroes.  You just can’t trust them, sexually, I mean.  Senator Reid will tell you.

I would have come forward much sooner to complain, but I felt ashamed, sullied, even tarnished and making Herman Cain’s sexual pursuit of me public is demeaning.  But then I took heart when all those women came forward to report their own demeaning experiences with Herman Cain and am now fully going public because he must be stopped.  How would it look if the Republicans ran a candidate against The President that had darker skin and more Negroid features than the President?  It would make it really difficult to accuse them of being racist and besides, one Negro running for President is quite enough.

I understand how all those women that Herman Cain harassed must feel, because I’m sure I feel the same way.  During the debates he was making gestures that made me feel very um, uncomfortable.  I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but some of those gestures were totally obscene.  When he talked about that ‘9-9-9’ thing he pointed most suggestively and moved his lips in such a way to make me feel anxious and ill-at-ease.

I suspect there are a whole lot of others just like me who have been sexually harassed by Herman Cain for years or maybe even decades.  I hope they, like me and all those women, will come forward and put an end to Herman Cain’s relentless serial sexual harassment.  I wonder if I can get a settlement from the National Restaurant Association?
